Mango Jelly recipe in Telugu | మామిడి తాండ్ర | Mamidi Tandra | Aam papad recipe

 Mamidi Tandra is also known as "AAM PAPAD".It is an Indian fruit leather made out of mango pulp mixed concentrated sugar solution and sun-dried. It is also Known as AAMBA SADHAA, AAMTA, etc...

       Traditional Mamidi Tandra is sweet and is available in different varieties.

     It is available in Maharastra, Kerala, India, Coastal Andhra, Tamil Nadu, Odisha, and West Bengal.






Main Ingredients:

1. Mango pulp

2.Sugar

3.Green cardamom powder


     HOW TO PREPARE DELICIOUS  MANGO JELLY

1.Take 2 large ripe mangoes. Rinse with water neatly.

2.Peel off the skin of the mangoes and cut them into small pieces 

3.Take a jar then add the mango pieces and blend well until you get the smooth pulp or juice


4.Now take a pan and add mango mix and cook on a low flame. After 2-3 minutes add one cup of sugar to it and cook for 10 to 15 minutes on a low flame.


5.For a better taste we can add a pinch of green cardamom powder in this stage, it gives a nice flavor and good taste.

6.You can cook this mixture on a high flame for 10 minutes.

7.After 15 minutes, turn off the flame and keep aside the cooked mango mix

8.Now take a plate then apply 1-2 tablespoons of ghee to the plate. Pour the mango mixture and spread the mixture into a layer 

9.Place the plate in the sunlight for 2-3 days


      After the completion cut the mixture into small size pieces and store them in the jar.
